Program Areas

The following Northwest Dawah Foundation programs are the method in which we convey the message of Islam in the Pacific Northwest consistent with our mission, values, and vision.

Dawah NW

Dawah NW is our General Dawah & Street Dawah Program and through this program we do Dawah through a variety of methods whether that is dawah tabling in public venues to answer questions and provide information on Islam or through partnerships and events in the Muslim Community. Dawah NW also provides support to New Muslims who take Shahadah through Dawah NW, Companions of Yusuf or through referral or partnership with Masajid.

Companions of Yusuf is our Dawah Program for Jails, Prisons, Halfway Houses and Other Correctional Settings. Through this program we mail free Qurans and Islamic materials directly to inmates and will often correspond with Muslim prisoners to provide them support. We also directly partner with facilities to make Qurans and other resources available including Islamic speakers for Muslim prisoners.

Baitulmaal NW is our Sadaqah (charity) program focused on providing assistance to Muslims in the Pacific Northwest. We provide this support through food assistance and personal financial assistance. In Early 2020 when the Coronavirus Pandemic became known we immediately organized an effort called the Muslim Covid-19 Assistance Program where we assisted a number of Muslim families with food & hygiene supply assistance, bill assistance and clothing assistance in their time of need in partnership with local masajid (mosques) and other Muslim non-profits.
